Some more cosplayers from Supanova, Melbourne 2012. I also got a couple of photos of Marc McBride, the artist who designed the covers of the Deltora Quest series, among many others.
Come down to NGV Studio on Flinders St in Federation Square on Sunday 20th May to take part in a unique Cosplay competition being staged as part of an artwork for the 2012 Next Wave Festival.
There will be great prizes and a brilliant series of events on the day so be sure to check it out and wear your finest cosplay!
The event runs from 3.00-4.30pm and will be part of a project called The Greater Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere.

This is mainly for convention purposes, so expect to see us live tweeting the events when they arrive. We’re also in the process of designing a logo/watermark for photos we take.
We’re still in the settling phase, but thanks for bearing with us. :)

Melbourne Cosplay is dedicated to providing a gathering place for cosplayers in Melbourne, and to let us all gather and prepare for upcoming conventions and events. We’re still getting our bearings and trying to organise this blog, but we’re officially open for submissions! We’re in the process of getting Supanova 2012 photos up (they’re mainly reblogs from our main accounts) but we’ll be uploading more soon, as well as preparing for Oz Comic-con.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to send in your own photos!
